Conflicting Edits?

Do you get that message whenever you try to edit a frost monster? I keep getting it.

Nope, I haven't seen it yet.

LOL

Regarding the edit: "(Fixed misspelling of word "misspell" :)"

Grats on 40 :D - Al Gilman 16:50, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Thanks man! :)

Darkness Belt

If the darkness belt is represented as Image:DarknessBelt.PNG, then we can just use the original icon, Belts.PNG. I'm kinda miffed at the team for making so many items with generic icons! Metal weapons, poison helms, and now darkness belts! *sigh* - QueenBowie 14:16, 14 January 2008 (EST)

Heh, yeah, I hear you. Besides the screenshot I took was too small, then I resized it and it got all pixelated... blah... :) - Kristy 01:31, 15 January 2008 (EST)
You can make a mix on it. You paste the belts icon in the Darkness icon. It's cool and easy as defeat Mumragon! Juan Cruz 18:28, 9 February 2008 (EST)

Alchemy

Congrats on reaching level 40 in alchemy! :) - QueenBowie 02:38, 18 January 2008 (EST)

Thanks! :)

Misspellings

<rant>
I realize that not everyone on here speaks perfect English or has finished 2nd grade, but why can't they at least use a spell checker when editing pages on here? Really, it just makes the whole Wiki look amateurish when there are obvious misspellings, bad grammar and bad sentence structure. It just makes me want to pull my hair out when I see pages that look like they were edited by a 2 year old. - Kristy 14:56, 23 January 2008 (EST)
</rant> :)

Portuguese user doesn't make mispellings

Why are you saying this?!?! I am a Brazilian player, and a user! And I study English since 2003! I say perfect -or almost perfect- English! There are some exceptions, as in Hearth of Ice (I created the page Heart of Ice instead)! :)

Scaled Stat Tables

I noticed you have been adding in levels higher than 40 for some of the monsters' scaled stats tables.
The tables are meant to represent the stats of the monster you will fight at YOUR level.
Example: If you are level 39 and the monster is level 40, you record the stats your level 39 character's foe is under level 39 section. Likewise, if you are level 40 and the monster is level 43, you record the stats to level 40 - as these are what stats you will have to defeat at your level. - QueenBowie 16:39, 23 January 2008 (EST)

Ok, well, as I understood it, the tables represented the stats for the monsters at *their* levels, without regard to our character's level. It just seemed to me that if the page was about a particular monster, only it's stats would be relevant, not ours. If I'm wrong then I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. - Kristy 02:09, 24 January 2008 (EST)
In fact, after having looked at the page called Blank Scaled Statistics Table, I see there is a template for a table to be used if the monster's level is 1 more than yours. The first column for level 1 has "N/A" in it, indicating to me that while you are level 1, the monster is therefore level 2, and you are to insert it's stats into the level 2 column. That is why I was led to believe that the monster's stats were to be entered in at *it's* level, not mine. Do you see what I mean? - Kristy 02:26, 24 January 2008 (EST)
Yeah, I've seen that, but it gets too confusing. If we recorded the level of the monster we are fighting, then you will not know what kind of monster you will have to face at your current level. I have fought level 6 monsters when I go to lesser areas (I'm level 40), and the stat gains are less than when I was level 6 fighting that same level 6 monster. If we did the charts according to the monster and not the player, they would change too much. But I do agree, these tables are not adequate. Now we are encountering monsters (i.e. boulder elemental) of the same level having different HP/MP within the same quests (and other quests) in which they appear. If we create a stat table for every single quest the monster is in, and include the person's level who is fighting them on that table; it will be exhaustively detailed, but a pain to implement. The stats we have now would be almost useless because the players haven't recorded their level :p So, we can start from scratch, or keep a less accurate table. I will work on creating a table that can do all this without losing the data we already have ... *cracks fingers* I'll show you when I get done! -QueenBowie 18:23, 31 January 2008 (EST)

Bars 2's Question

What is your character ID? And your weapons are weak.(Rod of Reflection etc...).Please look to:Best of the Best User:Bars 2 18:22, 30 January 2008
My ID is 15396698. Well, you may think my weapons are weak, but they work for me, thank you very much! I know there are weapons out there with higher damage, but I like to get ones with alot of mods on them, rather than just pure damage. But, thanks for your concern. - Kristy 13:06, 30 January 2008 (EST)
