Notes
Types of rewards: You can get two types of rewards from this challenge:
- Pouch of Sparkling Sand - several of these can be traded for items that do not require a Dragon Amulet
- items to be traded at Loremaster Maya's Book Return for equipment that requires a Dragon Amulet.
Tips: You need five of the Pouch of Sparkling Sand to trade with Sir Vey for an item, requiring you to do this quest at least five times. If you do not possess a Dragon Amulet and you would like to stop receiving those pesky Book Return items at the end of this quest, here's a tip: Keep the Book Return items in your inventory. It seems that you won't receive a second of a particular item if it is already in your inventory. If you have many of the Book Return items in your inventory, then it greatly increases your chances of receiving a Pouch of Sparkling Sand.
