This week brought us four new quests, make sure to check them out!

Al Gilman 16:47, 18 November 2007 (EST)
Blacksmithing is out, hopefully it wont be the last non combat skill to come. I made a basic page for the skill, however feel free too add on whatever you think is necessary. The big thing we need right now are pages for all the weapons located in Yulgar's Forge so if you happen to create one of those weapons please do post the stats. Ill try to get these news updates more frequent then twice a month, regularly on weekends perhaps. Until next time, keep on gaming.

Al Gilman 02:38, 28 October 2007 (EDT)
I hope everyone is having a great Molgoween. The wiki hasnt exploded so everything must be in working order. As always if you have any comments or requests for me, feel free to post them on my user talk page, I'll entertain them however radical they may be. If your celebrating halloween this October, please remember to stay safe. Until next time, everyone have a happy Mogloween.

Al Gilman 01:06, 3 October 2007 (EDT)
The MechQuest gamma test is happening now, check it out if you haven't already. Also MQwiki.com is open, it is kind of empty if you want to help add information feel free to register and help out.

Al Gilman 19:29, 16 September 2007 (EDT)
Things seem to be going smoothly around here. If anybody has any suggestions for the wiki or wants to do something that would need my assistance such as an opinion filled editorial about the game updates, feel free to contact me at Eatdf.jpeg. I'm always interested in new ideas from the users. As you may have heard by now MechQuest beta has been delayed a bit and is now gonna be the Gamma Test. Once it is out MQwiki should go live shortly after.

Al Gilman 15:01, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
The login page is fixed, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer (or winter if your on the other side of the planet) soon lots of good games will be coming out for the Christmas shopping season and I cant possibly be the only one who is excited. If you havent heard about it go pre-register at mechquest.com for AE's third online game. This time it has robots!

Al Gilman 04:19, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
With a little tweaking the latest design notes will be going on the front page tomorrow.

Al Gilman 21:59, 7 August 2007 (EDT)
Pardon the minor downtime, I tried to upgrade something that didnt want to be upgraded and, bad stuff happened. I did manage a little upgrade if there are any problems please contact me.

Al Gilman 15:15, 4 August 2007 (EDT)
Alright automated backup is set up now (dont know why I didnt do this earlier). So should something happen to the wiki a recent copy will be available to setup and go.

Al Gilman 13:00, 4 August 2007 (EDT)
Alright I think a team of moderators who can prevent vandalism from happening would be useful to the wiki. If you are an experienced member and would like to try for the position. Send an email to Eatdf.jpeg explaining why I should choose you to be on the mod team.

Al Gilman 00:41, 31 July 2007 (EDT)
I apologize that not all of our members act maturely within our community, please forgive the disturbances they may cause. Notifying me promptly of these disturbances helps greatly to end them sooner. Thank you very much and I hope you continue doing so in the future.

Al Gilman 02:33, 11 July 2007 (EDT)
I hope everybody is enjoying the summer or winter if you are in the south. The wiki looks to be in good shape. Everyone is doing a fantastic job with adding and updating the information. Keep up the great work! If you need to let me know anything please remember the quickest most painless way would probbably be through my talk page.

Al Gilman 03:31, 11 June 2007 (EDT)'
Happy Birthday DragonFable!
Thank you everyone on the DF team who has worked hard to make this great game for us, and best of luck on another year filled with success and Sir Prise.

Al Gilman 00:11, 19 May 2007 (EDT)
Things have been going well with the wiki, thanks to everyone who is contributing. Not much else to announce right now. If you have any suggestions please make sure to let me know, the quickest way would probably be through my talk page. Once again thanks and keep up the good work!

Al Gilman 18:20, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
Alright now that we are all set at the new domain. I can provide you with an email service again. So if you want an @dfwiki.com email please send an email to Eatdf.jpeg including the following three items.
1.your first name
2.last name (or initial)
3.your preferred user name. (The user name is the part that goes before @dfwiki.com)

Al Gilman 22:11, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
Welcome to dfwiki.com ! The move of the wiki is complete. Email for @dfwiki.com is not set up yet however that should be done soon. If you spot any errors please contact me, preferably through my talk page about them.

Al Gilman 18:56, 13 April 2007 (CDT)
Along with the move to the new domain, I will also be moving the whole website to a different server. I will make a copy of the site tonight and move it to the new server. vectars.com will still be active until the move is complete, however changes made after the copy is made will not be transfered over. If all goes well it should be done and over with by Monday.

Al Gilman 01:52, 11 April 2007 (CDT)
Great news! This website will soon be moving to dfwiki.com . It will be the same website just a different address, I think it is a tad more suiting then vectars.com. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming days.

Also, mail will be back once I get the new domain setup. Those who wish to keep their @vectars.com email can still do so, however I will be allowing people to sign up for an @dfwiki.com email address if they so wish.

Al Gilman 15:42, 8 April 2007 (CDT)
I have gotten several more people set up with mail accounts. If you would like one the instructions are still below, they will be moved to a new page shortly. Those users who have a Mail account can access the login page for their mail using 2 new methods. One is the newly created link on the sidebar. The other is to go to http://mail.vectars.com , this should forward you to the mail system.

Al Gilman 00:15, 4 April 2007 (CDT)
Ok handed out 3 emails, if anyone else wants an email the instructions are below. They are quite nice actually, they use the same interface as Gmail. Also I'm going to see if I can better integrate them into this wiki later on.

Al Gilman 04:09, 3 April 2007 (CDT)
Ok we have email! If you would like a @vectars.com email with 2 gigs of storage, please email Mail.jpg with
1.your first name
2.last name (or initial)
3.your preferred user name. (The user name is the part that goes before @vectars.com)
I have to add each of these manually so it may take sometime, but I will get back to you.

Al Gilman 21:25, 31 March 2007 (CDT)
Sorry for not keeping in touch with you guys, don't worry im still here. I'm working on getting an @vectars.com email system set up. Ill keep you posted on it, in the days to come.

Al Gilman 17:18, 12 March 2007 (CDT)
I just browsed the dragon fable forums searching for any mention of this wiki. Way to go VIECEer05(the first user I saw promoting us but im sure there are many of you out there) for some advertising. Please note that I do not promote spam, and in fact wish to cut down on it. So please dont spam advertise our wiki anywhere, it gives us a bad name. However if an unknowing person needs information feel free to point them our way.

Al Gilman 02:37, 25 February 2007 (CST)
We might experience a downtime, in the next few days as I do some things that help me improve management of this site. Hopefully it wont be for more then a day. Also a new poll is up. I was just wondering if anyone is interested in having an @vectars.com email address?

Al Gilman 21:18, 6 February 2007 (CST)
Ok so we broke the 1000 unique visits per day on average this month. Yet we only have 285 registered users. I'm just wondering how is everyone accessing this site? Are you entering the name into your browser? Are you googling it? Is another website linking you here? You can tell me [here] if you want to.

Everyone is encouraged to register and start contributing to the wiki.

Al Gilman 08:28, 1 February 2007 (CST)
"Lets not touch a thing and simply work around it as we move forward. More on this coming later..."(Design Notes - Jan 31, 2007) A reply to the below rant? So the Dragon Fable team is open to adding things which might make the classes more varied. This is good, we all still have to remember that Dragon Fable is a young game and there are many additions to be made. Hopefully it will head in the right direction with this.

Random January Stats
Average 718 visits a day thats a 201% increase over December.
Total Pages Served - 219707
Total Bandwidth Transfer ~2 gigs

Al Gilman 00:30, 31 January 2007 (CST)
Is it me or does anyone else feel how everything in Dragon Fable being balanced is having a negative impact on the game? Every class basically gets a version of every spell/skill. Weapons are released so that everyone gets a version of the same thing. The damage that ends up being done by each class is the same. There is no way that each class should be equally good. Also there are no disadvantages/advantages to playing one class over the other. So what do you all think? Feel free to discuss it here.

Al Gilman 19:10, 26 January 2007 (CST)
Good Job everyone we broke the 1000 page mark on our wiki! Without the community backing up this project we would have been very slow to go anywhere. So if you in any way shape or form contributed to the wiki, Thank you! Be proud of what you've created, and lets keep up the good work. As always feel free to spread the news of our wiki around, we always welcome new faces.

Al Gilman 09:54, 16 January 2007 (CST)
Ok, there are around 90 49 pages in the Wanted Pages section. Meaning that the links exist to a page, but the page has not been created. If somebody would like to go through and either delete the link from each of the pages, or add the page/redirection that this list is talking about please dont hesitate to do so. Another alternative is, if the page already exists under a different title, just point the source article in the right direction.

Al Gilman 09:36, 8 January 2007 (CST)
So I played a bit of DragonFable on my Playstation 3. It was very low in frames per second but it worked. It will probably work better once Sony offers better flash support, but hey its DragonFable on your TV.

Al Gilman 01:33, 3 January 2007 (CST)
Just as a reminder if you know how to do something cool to better the wiki that may require administrative assistance please feel free to contact me, because our wiki always can use improvement.

Al Gilman 19:45, 1 January 2007 (CST)
I appologize for the downtime the wiki experienced, however I assure you no data was lost. Right now everything seems to be running just fine. I also hope that everyone is having a happy new year.

Al Gilman 18:41, 24 December 2006 (CST)
I would like everyone to have happy holidays regardless of what you may celebrate. Please stay safe these holidays and get ready for a new year. Also good job everyone on adding information to the wiki; we are close to 1000 articles. So when the DragonFable team releases more content we will definitely hit that mark. Also feel free to spread the word about the wiki we can always use more people helping us out.

Actreal 16:52, 8 December 2006 (CST)
With the new 100 room dungeon and the Aeris Battlespire ranks and shops, there's a bunch of new content to include in the wiki for our readers! New editors always welcome!

Al Gilman 03:29, 28 November 2006 (CST)
Oooo, Simeks change for the front page is awesome. So I went ahead and changed it up. ^_^ Hope you all enjoy it, feel free to throw any complaints that you have directly at me. Hmm maybe we should get some Moglins to run our complaints department! By the way the descriptions on the right got to change. My talk page or suggestions page is adequete for proposed descriptions, since main page can only be edited by me and Actreal! Thats all for tonight folks.

Actreal 02:04, 27 November 2006 (CST)
Simek has proposed a new format for the Main Page. Please take a look and post your feedback on Talk:Main Page Test. If everyone likes it, I'll move it across!

Al Gilman 00:44, 20 November 2006 (CST)
I just have some interesting stats for you, in the month of November we got an average of 258 visitors a day to vectars.com. Each day we display an average of 4633 pages. Way to go viewers of the wiki! Remember if you get the chance to tell a friend about the wiki and spread the word, please do so. Help our community expand and be more resourceful.

Actreal 21:43, 19 November 2006 (CST)
The latest war boss has arrived and so soon the war items and quests will be unavailable! So there are a number of pages that need to be created while the information is still in-game.

I thank the small number of dedicated editors doing a large amount of the work at the moment, but we would love to see more Dragon Fable players and wiki readers helping out! If you're new to wiki editing, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

As always, please put any comments, questions and suggestions on my talk page!

Actreal 20:25, 5 November 2006 (CST)
Hi! I'm Actreal, UDFW's new administrator. My current plans involve continuing to fill in all the information about the latest areas, Oaklore and Amityvale, and helping more DF players learn how easy wiki editing is so that they join in!

Also, Nightarrow has set up an IRC channel for UDFW editors to chat and discuss articles. The channel is #DragonFableWiki on the server irc.quakenet.org. Drop in and say hi!

If you have any suggestions, questions or comments, add them to my talk page and I'll get to them ASAP.

Al Gilman 19:14, 5 November 2006 (CST)
!New Administrator! Due too most of my time being consumed by school. The wiki has been rather suffering, congratulations Actreal on getting promoted to a wiki administrator. With him on the team the maintance of this wiki should rise a more moderate level!

Al Gilman 14:30, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
So I saw that we indeed have no quest section. Yet we have quests, I believe that this is because all current quests are exactly the same! Go in Kill everything come out! Rinse repeat! I havent realized this till right now but this sucks. We need some variation in our activities. </endrant> Ill give the DF team some time, I mean wasnt the game not supposed to be out till this winter? Ill be adding all the quests to a category and stick the category onto the side bar as per request. All quests added from now on should also be added to that category. We will probably need to make another template specificly for quests eventually.

Al Gilman 00:22, 11 October 2006 (CDT)
O.o we have 666 articles apparently. Weird!

Al Gilman 20:02, 6 October 2006 (CDT)
Oaklore is open and it looks great! a LARGE thank you goes out to the DF team from me! This is a huge ammount of content and puns. This is definetly the birth of a great game.

Al Gilman 17:35, 6 October 2006 (CDT)
Sorry for not posting for a while, school is being a bummer. Anyone else excited for oaklore forest? BTW dont forget to thank the DragonFable team for putting all this together for us so quickly. ^_^

Al Gilman 01:18, 9 September 2006 (CDT)
Holy wow the new weapons are cool looking. Also I see we have some new members out there contributing to the wiki, thank you for taking the load off mainly Lorion who has been doing a ton of work. Again theres a suggestions link on the navigation however if you want something to be read by me quickly its best to put it under My Talk (I Might change the suggestions page to my talk page sooner or later). Also if your going back to school, have a good school year!

Al Gilman 18:20, 25 August 2006 (CDT)
Yay pet shop is out! I hope we will be able to have gorilliphant pets. Also whoever updated weapons template and made it different shades of grey you are awesome and it looks awesome. Good Job! ^_^

P.S. We gotta get the word about the wiki to the DF Community. Any ideas as to how to do that? Tell Me Here

Al Gilman 12:27, 6 August 2006 (CDT)
Well looks like major changes have ceased. Thanks to the four major contributors during the time [you know who you are]. So now we have a new quest to save aria, which I see someone is already adding. By the way did anyone take a picture of the giant skeleton during balancing day aswell as the hot dogs because those could start our image archive section.

Al Gilman 00:28, 25 July 2006 (CDT)
Oh No what is this, Balancing day, you know what this means. It means Lorion will end up doing a whole bunch of work for your enjoyment. So I offer this, the person who I see helping out the most for updating the balancings will get front page spotlightage for their efforts. Wiki on!

Al Gilman 18:10, 14 July 2006 (CDT)
With the release of the new quest. We have temporary key gems. These are classified as a temporary item. In the spirit of being 100% accurate, there needs to be a temporary category with these items. Ill do it soon, if nobody has beaten me to it.

Al Gilman 21:37, 8 July 2006 (CDT)
Mmm... Monster Pet Eggs released, please add them to the wiki, They deserve their own category.

Al Gilman 08:48, 6 July 2006 (CDT)
Stress test is this saturday, hopefully there will be an influx of new visitors to the site.

Al Gilman 08:39, 4 July 2006 (CDT)
What would you like to see added or done to the wiki? Drop your ideas in the Suggestion Box

Al Gilman 01:18, 19 June 2006 (CDT)
Gorgok has been defeated! Adventurers from all lands fought and defeated waves upon waves of Gorgoks minions, and we have proven victorious.

Al Gilman 17:44, 16 June 2006 (CDT)
Willowshire Under Attack! - Gorgok has attacked, please help us win this war by going to Willowshire and fighting his minions. Also please edit the event page to cover the event. Pictures added.

Al Gilman 13:45, 14 June 2006 (CDT)
Weapon Template new and improved, easier to fill Weapon template is out.

Al Gilman 23:06, 13 June 2006 (CDT)
Monster Template is up and ready to go, so feel free to start bringing monsters into the wiki.
