- AE: Artix Entertainment - The Founder of the four games (MechQuest,AdventureQuest,DragonFable and AQWorlds)
- AQ: AdventureQuest- Another game by Artix Entertainment. (BattleOn)
- AQW: AdventureQuestWorlds- The fourth game by AE.
- Boost: If an attack does 10% Boost, it means all attacks will do 10% more damage. Similarly, -10% boost means that you do 10% less damage for all attacks.
- CCA: ChickenCow Armor
- CCL: Crystal Clear Lake
- CHA: Charisma - Effects NPC interactions and pet training.
- CRIT: Critical Attack - High damage attack.
- DA: Dragon Amulet (also, NON-DA)
- DC: DragonCoins
- DmK: DoomKnight Armor
- DK: DeathKnight
- DEF: Defense - Your ability to absorb (lessen) damage.
- DEX: Dexterity - Increases Ranged damage. Rumored to affect DEF in the future.
- DF: DragonFable
- DOT: Damage Over Turns - Continuance of damage to an enemy over a few, or many, turns.
- DMG: Damage
- DPT: Damage Per Turn - Average damage enemy can do each turn.
- END: Endurance - Affects the amount of HP your character has.
- HP: 1.Hit Points, 2. Health Potion, 3. Healing Pad
- INT: Intelligence - Increases your maximum mana (magic) points.
- LUK: Luck - Effects all character rolls in a small way.
- LVL: Level
- MAX: Maximum
- MP: 1.Mana Points (also Magic Points or Muscle Points), 2. Mana Potion,
- MQ: MechQuest
- NaN: Not a Number
- NPC: Non-player Character, See NPC.
- RNG: Random Number Generator - Game mechanic that determines game play. (Think dice!)
- SRoD: ShadowReaper of Doom
- SSoD: SkullStaff of Doom
- SysOp: System Operator
- STR: Strength - Increases melee damage.
